Vancouver´s climate is quite mild due to the city´s coastal situation. During the summer months, the weather is rather dry, with an average temperature between 5-10 °C. During the rest of the year it often rains, and the average temperature is -6.3°C.

There are several ways: By bus, by Train or by Taxi.
Canada Line
Canada Line provides rapid rail service linking Downtown, Richmond and the Vancouver International Airport (YVR). Trains leave every four minutes from Vancouver, and every seven minutes from Richmond and YVR. A one-way trip from YVR to Downtown Vancouver takes only 25 minutes on a two zone fare of $3.75.
Airport Bus Service
A regular scheduled airport bus service operates between the airport and downtown Vancouver.

Transit service
The Vancouver transit system, TransLink, is made up of a network of buses and unique services such as the SeaBus and SkyTrain, which offer you a breathtaking view.
The AcuaBus and the False Creek Ferries bring you to Grenville Island. Note: Public buses do not give change. Please carry exact amount. Wheelchair buses and bus stops are identified by the international wheelchair symbol.
Train
West Coast Express, links several outer suburbs to downtown Vancouver. It works from Monday to Friday.
